The future requires safety
"Psychological safety is being able to show and employ one's self without fear of negative consequences of self-image, status or career" (Kahn).
In Project Aristotle, Google researchers looked into what makes a team effective and discovered that the main factor was feeling psychologically safe. Creating this workspace helps grow effectiveness, innovation, and learning.
The organization of the future has to be a learning organization as well as flexible and innovative and it is not easy to find and retain people. The leaders of our organizations need to create environments that provide safety so we can build all of this.
Come learn more about psychological safety and the leadership of the future.
